Hi,

Have you powered off the MD and let it restart?

Is your MD hdmi for video/audio?

Which net-install 28 Dec.?

Whoops!  OK  01.01.2016 - haven't tested those yet.

Hi,

FYI, Live starts Kubuntu, goes to linuxmce login prompt, times out, runs kubuntu startup again, ejects DVD, closes DVD, restarts back to LMCE boot up options.

Cheers.

Hi,

Basically, the installer crashed.

File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/plugins/ubi-prepare.py", line 344, in ok_handler secureboot_key = self.ui.get_secureboot_key()

Will play around.

Hi,

I'll check this load for update/upgrade because for amd64 variant updatemedia ran after upgrade applied.

Hi,

Didn't do resynch.  Did an update/upgrade and updatemedia amd64 2.0.0.47.15121631757 was downloaded.

Rebooted and media was discovered.

Webadmin OK.

Hi,

This installed with AVWizard and Sarah.  (Analog audio level no problem but was installed on different hardware platform.)

NAS recognized but no media detection (saw "Failed to get LinuxMCE media identifier"? message fly by.

Could not get into webadmin.  Received "dcerouter/lmce-admin not found on this server" message.

Tried 192.168.80.1 manually and "mythweb" came up.

Shut down (Power Off) is manual.

BTW on 12.04-i386, 14.04-i386 and amd64 variants I am using alpha-blending with no issues to date.

Hi,

Presently doing the 64 bit install and during adding the HDD volumes on the NAS I caught the following messages flying by...

I believe it said "Failed to get LinuxMCE media identifier" , it was pretty quick.

Cheers.

Hi,

I let it sit for half an hour and UpdateMedia didn't scan the contents.

However, the NAS had some kind of communication happening because it did not go into "sleep" mode.

(One particular LED would have timed out and turned off due to lack of activity on the comm link).

OK,

TBZ took like 3 hours start to finish but have a MD.

Had to adjust analog stereo on Core using alsamixer - volume low.  MD with HDMI audio OK.

ssh to moon OK.

I don't use Myth.

Hi,

No issues during initial install - AVWizard and Sarah OK.

NAS detected but had to Resynch media.

Going to run TBZ and create MD.

Cheers.
