Hi, we created this Python Script to convert the *.csv file you can easly export  with ETS3 with all your KnxDevice with relative Group Adresses, in the "KnxDeviceName"/"X"/"X"/"X" format for LinuxMCE.

You can donwload it here, the name is etstolmce.py

Users / Problem with HADesigner and DB
« on: June 26, 2009, 10:34:14 am »
Hi all,
i'm having some problem with HADesigner, i added another text_ls table in pluto_main database wich contains italian translation, when i added it there was already the origninal text_ls table, and it was added as text_LS_AltVersions by mysql(i think).
So i renamed the "old" one as Text_LS_BAK and the new one Text_LS.
Now when i start HADesinger it returns a error like "Text_LS_AltVersion" is missing but i did'nt understand where   it pick the "AltVersion" since i started Hadesigner after the rename thing.

Obviously i did'nt make a DB Backup, am i screwed??

Thanks, Martino.

Users / Can't download the Windows Orbiter installer
« on: June 11, 2009, 06:50:36 pm »
Hi,in the 8.10, i was trying to install an Orbiter on my windows Pc, following this guide

http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Control_LinuxMCE_using_a_Windows_device_as_an_Orbiter#Manual_Orbiter_Setup_on_the_Core

I can't download any installer, it's a 0 byte file that obviusly  don't work.

So i looked the original files in
/usr/pluto/installers and i notice that are all 0 byte files.

It's normal because we are talking about the 8.10?

Thanks,
Martino.

Developers / UI Italian Translation in HADesigner - Problrm
« on: June 10, 2009, 01:40:08 am »
I everybody, i wanna make the italian Translation of the UI of lmce8.10.

If i understood i had to use HADesigner and translate the Text Part.

The problem is that in Hadesigner you have room only for German and French, for the italian i have to
overwrite one of those and select for example french for main language to see the italian version??

Hope it's understandable what i wrote.

Thanks,
Martino.

Users / Linuxmce-it.com - The Italian Community
« on: May 29, 2009, 09:34:20 am »
Hi, we registered the domain www.linuxmce-it.com and we want to create an Italian Community of LinuxMCE.
I see the German Community (http://linux-mce.de/), it's basically a partial Translation of the Wiki.

Our goal is to spread the knowledge of MCE, wich in Italy is very low, contrariwise of an a large open-source community, and make
life easier for the new users who want to begin with MCE, maybe translating the installation guides.

Have you any good advice before we start to work out?

Best Regard,
Martino.
