I was actually concidering the ones you mentioned but there is one main issue there. I am in Europe and as far as i know, i cannot get neither hdhomerun nor USB UIRT

Hello all, i am new to this forum. AS with everybody else i am thinking of building a hybrid pc.

I have one question regarding TV Tuners. I have previously bought a MCE remote controller with its IR blaster. I now want to buy a Hauppauge HVR 1300 card (No MCE). I think this card comes with its own remote controller.

My question is: Will the MCE remote i bought work with the tv tuner or the tuner needs to be the MCE version so as to work?
