Sorry for the late response.

After I configured a window share and restarted the computer it found my drive (right afer it found the shares) so everything is ok now :D
Not sure what the problem was but I'm happy now.

Hello,

I have installed linux mce 0810 snapshot (LinuxMCE-8.10-23359-i386.iso) on my computer and I have the same problems with no autodetection on usb hdd/dongles. KDE have no problem with mounting them.
Both the USB hdd and usb dongle are formated in fat32, dunno if this is a problem for linuxmce.

Is there something special I need to configure/do to make linuxmce aware of usb drives?
I'm thinking of adding my custom mount in fstab to /mnt/ instead of the standard /media/, but it would be nice if I don't have to do manually configuration for each drive.

PS. I'm sorry for the spelling, English is not my native language.
