just reinstall all system, to be sure that its not my fault somewhere...
1.after first boot in clear kubuntu I checked sound via SPDIF- WORKING
2.upgraded all system - sound WORKING
3.after install of mce:
avwizard - no sound
KDE - no sound

P.S.

Select coaxial in Av Wizard because coaxial = spdif and spdif= coaxial

Hi!I installed Kubuntu 8.10 and the latest alpha build of linuxmce.
After install there was no sound at all, and in aplay -L there was no SPDIF.then I install the last alsa(1.0.21) and got spdif.Now I've got mplayer working with spdif -
