Is this the correct sources list for 10.04 finale I did an update but no upgrade yet of fear of crashing the system. I got IGN for all of the linuxmce repositories.

Do I do this on the core and each md?

I'm going to through this out there and I am probably going to get a lot of rap for this. KDE maybe a waste of 1 gig but it is also a resource hog and any of the desktops for that matter. that extra resource could be used in better ways. Here is an example take a computer lying around and install a distribution without a desktop. second install X and your chosen program. and call it from a command line. it will work, I have done this before.  

I agree, A desktop is not needed to run apps in Linux.

Heck, Yeah! I know its been a long time since my last post back in 7.10. I am running 8.10 now and so much more stable. So much has been addressed to things I said where problems as in the mythtv not recording in the right directories. Now works as it was designed. Great work!!! I am now working on figuring the QT out so I can possibly contribute to the great lmce it is meant to be. No more static now dynamic!

Sorry rocketlynx I should have reallized the source list was dead. At the time I posted they were still working.
Glad you found the fix and got yours working.

It should show up with adept. Unless your repository list was changed somehow. I just mentioned synaptic cause that is what I use that I am acustomed to.

       yeah somebody does need to start on codeing a proper DCE driver! But i'm not a developer.

You should not have to untar and build anything. lcdproc is in the repositories. I just confirmed with synaptic.
I think you are going about it the wrong way.
Are you trying to install install mythtv ver .22 on top of the one that was installed with linuxmce?
That will not work. will probably break mythtv plugin.
As far as upgrading mythtv I can't help you with that.
