Yes, my card was detected and configure during setup about 30 channels were found. I have a hauppauge hybrid wintv-hvr 950q card(usb). I did a dvd install and im using linuxmce 10.04. Thank you for responding I may try to reinstall the software to see if they was a error when installing the first time.

Sorry,

I have two error messages whenever i start mythtv. 1) Could not connect to master backend server is it running? Is the IP address set up for the setup program correct? and 2) Mythtv is using all inputs but there is no active recordings.

I don't know what to do everything else is working sound, video, the tv card has been detected mythtv is the only problem...

Hello, can u please repost the file needed to downgrade so i can get mythtv working. Mythtv keeps dying whenever i start it. I was trying to download the file  package and i get the 404 error message The requested URL /ubuntu/dists/lucid/beta2/binary-i386/pluto-dcecommon_2.0.0.45.12062726126_i386.deb was not found on this server.
Please help thank you so much.

Hello, I have a problem with my new 22'inch phillip hdtv flatscreen tv. I repalce my old tv that was programmed from channel 4 only and i was using the rcn remote because i couldnt fine the old remote to tv.  So, now that i bought new tv with a remote i wanted to start recording my tv shows but when i called my cable company they said i have to use their remote. But the problem lies is when i scan for channels on new tv only channel 4 comes up what do i do?

Help i really want to start to start my favorite shows.

hello

I have a question actually two. One is flickr screensaver will not work on my linuxmce computer (just black screen). But the flickr pictures show up in media orbiter under pictures i'm running 800x600 60mhz using ul2 and my video card is nvidia geforce 5200. Second question  i have a haugauge pvr 150 card that was not detected by the linuxmce so the tv portion of mythtv is not configured or working. I am running 7.10 linuxmce. I have uninstalled and installed this software several times.This software use to run on my computer before but the original cd stop working so i had to download the software again to reinstall.


Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Can someone help me i have gray remote for pvr150. I can't get this remote to work. I using  linuxmce and kubuntu 7.10.
