im 99% sure it will work this is what i did
conected pc screen thru vga conector
reboot the machine, few seconds ull hear a bleeping melody from the internal speaker
when u hear it press and hold shift until u hear 2 tones like a bleepBLEEP
than wait
it can take about a min before the screen comes up its a green screen , as i said if theres 2 outputs on the gfx card u may have to move the vga conector between the 2 to see which one is being used
again... good luck
ps took me about 15 instals to get it workin (mostly cause i did not no about the shift key thing)

hauppage 150 mce capture card < the next thing i gota get working
4gb corsair 800 ram
42" lg lcd screen + 22" samsung lcd  (wish i could use dual screen   )
hacked starview cable box

I had similar problem with my 8800gts luckily the good guys on linuxmce irc helped me out, on reboot when u hear the bleping melody type thing press the shift buton and you should get the av setup screen (if you have 2 outputs you may need to togle between the 2 outputs to find which one linuxmce is using.

iv had the same problem, but luckily what i did is use the arial out from my set top box and linkled that to the arial input on my capture card

um best bet google capture card (its a pci card that is the input for ur settop box to connect to) i will hopefully be using a hauppage 150 for the input .

gfx: bfg 8800gts 312mb

as with most im getting the dead screen after reboot (i can hear the av wizard i.e when u can see and hear me use the arrows on the ketboard then press enter) w00t i can hear her but cant see her :/ iv tried the buton 1-5 to select correct output as well as the 6-9 but no joy as i dont hear the beeps O_o  am i doing sumthing wrong oh btw im using a bluetooth keyboard (which works during setup so im thinking its not that )
isit that my hardware is not suported ?
or am i just another noob doing sumthing wrong
any help would be very much appreciated

also i have it hooked thru vga to pc screen although even thru dvi to big screen same thing

ok iv just found out that it isnt the av wizard im getting its the setup wizard :/ any help pls

pps i havre been informed to hold down shift key when i hear the beeps on reboot, i shal try this (meny thanks to linuxmce irc channel i shal post if it works
