Thanks bro on the heads up with the install thing. I got a WD sata 250gig HDD and that would be a shame if it took that all up. I plan on starting the downloading when I get home for work. So anyways, I want to download Kubuntu 710 and LMCE. What are some fast sites I can get the software form (pirate bay?). Then, basically I want to install Kubuntu 710 and then when I get that loaded install LMCE.

Alright I got a HP Pavilion dv6589us and I will list the specs at the bottom.  I know laptops aren’t good for any serious processing but I have this laptop sitting in my room and want to put it to good. I just want LMCE for movies, music, and TV that’s it. Right now, I just got the laptop and nothing else. I plan on buying a new 32in LCD TV soon and a USB TV turner. But anyways I am wondering a few things. First, what’s the best value USB turner that’s going to work with no driver conflicts? Also will this laptop be fast enough to run UI2 with alpha blending / transparency? Finally, I am wondering if this is a big waste of time on a laptop or not? Thanks in advance for helping me.
