thx zaerc for your post. but linux mce dont detect them. that was the reason, why i asked here. i deinstalled it again, cause i lost one day for the installation & configuration without results

i used 0704, maybe thats the reason why they were not detected automaticly. however, i deinstalled and now i have again hardy on my system. i will give it a try later, when i am not longer a newbie at linux.

as a linux newbie, i've got a question

how can i tell linuxmce, that he should check the medias in other partions? i 've got three nfts partions

/media/sda4 (audio files)
/media/sda5 (video files)
/media/sda6 (pictures)
