I've used that script on .18 .21 .22 and .23 I've never had a problem. Download .23 from mythtvs website and then use the myth.find_orphans.pl from that after you uncompress. It's in the /mythtv/contrib section somewhere. Maybe the newest version of the script has been modified

That calculation expects 100% effectivity from the PSU.

I wonder how much energy it uses over the course of a year.

with two 2900 mAh batter at 1.5 volts, it last around two days. Each AA battery provides 4.35 watts total so that gives us 4.35 watts per day. Divide by 24 to get watt hour and that would be .18 watts/hr. Total comes out to about 1.58 KWH a year. For me that costs a total of .10 cents yearly

Not sure if this one has the same defect of killing batteries as the WDTC-20 which has been discontinued due to that fact.

It was only killing batteries before i could hook up the 24vac connection to it. Now that I've got the power to it, it isn't even using batteries. If the power goes out it goes through batteries about every two days.

so it appears the InTouch CA8900 is the same exact model as the wayne-dalton WDTC-20 but with the much lower price of $45 at some retailers. Looks exactly the same except for the rebranding. I may pick one up

Any updates on this? I really like this thermostat but am waiting until it has been fixed/ironed out.

The new ted 5000 system looks like it may work out of the box for us maybe. Linux compatible and has ethernet connectivity.

The old version 1000/1001 is already integrated with My:ro control http://www.meetmyro.com/overview.asp and looks pretty nice with the way that home automation program presents it. A electric/power section would be a neat addition to linuxmce

n810 will work as an orbiter same as the n800 for the guy asking earlier

n810 is step back because it only has one minisd port on it instead of my two full sd ports on my n800 that allow for two full size sd cards. Plus the 810 is freaking expensive. just buy a bluetooth keyboard and a gps device if the gps and keyboard are that important and you will save money

Compare to the Fire.. right now a great deal of around $37 dollars and 2.22 in tax. Free shpping as well.

thank you for doing all this work with the screencasts. When I get my system in and some freetime I'm going to make a new UI based on UI2 that will work for a touchscreen (hopefully anyway)
