I'm also seen this, and instead of rebooting the router you can simply press ctrl+alt+F1 to go to console and ctrl+alt+F7 to get back to kde and the screen is right again.

... for a linux user, but not for me (linux noob)

I have installed a new hdd and format it to ext3 but I cant get linuxmce to store the recorded tv files to the new hdd drive.

In linuxmce a have selected the new hdd to be used. And in Mythtv setup I changed the default location:

/home/public/videos/tv_show_1  (somthing like that cant remember exactly)

to

/mount/device/63 (the new hdd)

But when I reboot the old one is used instead. I think I'm missing something here ?
Can someone please tell me the correct way of doing this.

I just want to point out that the "better integration with MythTV" is a big one. LinuxMCE unfortunately has a reputation for having a less stable MythTV than other distributions which include MythTV. The MythTV installed in LMCE is really no different than the one in other distributions, but unfortunately the "Network Control" feature which LMCE uses extensively to integrate MythTV into the rest of LMCE has had some problems in the past.

I created a patch which fixes most of the "Network Control" crashes, see here:
   http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/4115

There is still one more problem which Chewi alerted me to, where the "Network Control" handles digital tuners badly because it times out after two seconds on channel changes and gets stuck in an infinite loop trying to tune. The problem is that digital tuning can take longer than two seconds, especially in satellite setups where a rotor needs to physically point the dish at the proper satellite. I'll be looking at this problem as well.

How do i install this patch ?

Yes please !

Best i think is when you press TV it start the program that is being recorded.
If you only have one turner card and that is recording you get a anoying popup window about 5 times before you can go on to the media libary to select your recordings.

Cant wait to try the next release  :)
