Users / Blue tooth

I am a novic in this area...If my nieghbor has a blue tooth device can they take control of my unit. or if I have company over and they have a blue tooth phone...can they control my units....because it would not be cool if my nieghbor could turn my lights on and off...that is some scary stuff.....

I am new to mythtv...I do not know diddly squat about linux.......my mom wants me to build a media center for her....I pretty much know what I want as for as for hardware...however, the software aspect of it is daunting..you have sage,beyondtv, media portal etc etc...hence why i am here.....I like mythtv...it is what i am looking for.....well lets get to reality...my mom will be using it...does she has to know linux...because she still cannot program her VCR...is mythtv right for her?Thanks.
