Yes, I just followed the instructions on the Wiki to do a trunk check out:

svn co http://linuxmce.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/linuxmce/trunk

After executing the command, svn starts downloading the code and after a few minutes I get the following:

...
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/Makefile.in
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/POTFILES
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/ChangeLog
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/Makefile.in.in
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/POTFILES.in
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/.cvsignore
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/po/Makefile
A    trunk/src/mce-launcher/stamp-h.in
svn: In directory 'trunk/src/mce-launcher'
svn: Can't open 'trunk/src/mce-launcher/.svn/tmp/config.guess.tmp.tmp': Operation not permitted

Thanks

While doing a checkout of the trunk I get the following message, and svn quits:

svn: Can't open 'trunk/src/mce-launcher/.svn/tmp/config.guess.tmp.tmp': Operation not permitted

Anyone knows what the problem is here?

Thanks

Ok I can finally play DVDs, but I don't see the "Play Disc" button; which I don't care much about, so that's ok.

The problem was that I had a CD/RW, and a DVD/RW on the system. It took the CD/rw as the default, but it wouldn't pick up the DVD/RW. My solution was to remove the CD/RW, and just leave the DVD/RW.

If someone knows how to add the "Play Disc" button, let me know.

Thanks

I installed with the DVD ( the one that installs Kubuntu and linuxmce all in one shot ). That is the irony too, that I installed using the same DVD drive that now does not want to show up.

When I go the "Manage Drives" all four squares are empty ( black boxes ). There is a play button, but the DVD does not play. It says that it "cannot play this media". " that perhaps this entertainment area is not able to play it". Regardless of the message I don't think it refers to the DVD player, I think it just cannot find a drive.

I figured I didn't have to specify that I did close the tray, seemed obvious, but then again it may not.
So for the record I did close the tray. The DVD does spin, but it would not play.

I ve changed DVDs, and made sure I can play them using Kaffeine through the KDE Interface. So in KDE, in the same machine as linuxmce, the DVDs play; however linuxmce seems to know nothing about the DVD that I put in ( with the DVD drive tray closed mind you  :) )

Thanks

I just installed LinuxMCE 704, but I haven't been able to figure out how to play DVDs.
When I put a DVD on the tray, nothing happens. I also don't see the "Play Disc" button on the screen.

Does anyone know how to go about fixing this issue?

Thanks
