One more thing... I plugged in a USB mouse and it worked. Both the PS/2 mouse and Keyboard were still dead.

How bizarre!

I have recently made a hybrid install and i am very impressed with the results.

But one thing which is bothering me is that sometimes the media station which is in the same PC as the core (which i believe to be strong enough to run both) is that the keyboard and mouse becomes unresponsive as in "no response at all" making the station pretty much useless.

The core as well as the media station are still running as the images continue to change in the background and, by pressing the power button in the PC i get a clean shutdown. Only the keystrokes and mouse don't work.

Anybody knows what am i doing wrong? Is it a focus problem? (Maybe the core gets the focus and consequently all the inputs who knows?
