I recently ran across Popcorn Hour A-100, it seems like a possible/perfect MD, i cant find any hardware specs on it, but its feature list is quite impressive :

(480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i resolution).. ya the 1024i was a typo... but i think u know what i meant  :)

Anyways I didn't want to point any fingers...

according to the link u provided it only supports 1024i, nevertheless would still be cool cheap MD
