I've just started playing with MCE, and have all my data on a separate unbuntu server based machine. I do like the look of the ReadyNAS range even though they are now owned by Netgear.

The only disadvantage i can see is that you'd have two devices to worry about rather than the one, but for me I probably would prefer that, so I can tightly control what data is available to the core.

Hi,

I've just got MCE up and going for the first time, and mounted my nas to it for my dvds. However I have them organised in folders, some having multiple files (mini series) per folder. Unfortnately the organisation structure for browsing the files on the orbiters is not quite what I am after. Is it possible to change how they are displayed, for example by folder and assigning a icon to that folder?
