Installation issues / orbiter...

Ok, ive installed following the wiki, and im so confused its giving me a headache, i cant get an onscreen orbiter going, all i can get is the admin page on my browser, i have set it up all on the same PC, as a hybrid (even tried just a core installation) and nothing works, nothing.

Im getting a bit peeved now! lol any help?

Would this be compatable with LinuxMCE + Ubuntu 6.10? Im not a Linux noob, just dont want to waste money, i usually run Gentoo, what is the install procedure for the reciever etc? Thanks
