Dear one and all i belive iv found the ans. After about my 99th time of trying to get MCE to install, i was nearly reddy to give up when i though hold on. Im using the most upto date vertion from the ubuntu site. Needs to be the 6.10 one found on the mirrors here
http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu-releases/6.10/ubuntu-6.10-desktop-i386.iso. You just got to put up with the crap download speed of around 512k a sec so good luck one and all may the pengin be with u

Iv got the same problem, Any one elce found this and if so PLEASE PLEASE help.
That and i think you should know i realy dont have much of a qule about linux so if any one who dose know what to do and is willing to help. Your talking to a thick o
