Last.fm support would be great, though I am not sure how a whole house audio would handle it unless you could set different accounts to different rooms/users, or one account for whole house.

I watch a lot of anime, and personally enjoy watching it with subtitles and original language audio, but not everyone does. If it were possible, with two sound cards on the media receiver, so send one audio track from a dvd or other source to one output, and a different audio track to a different sound card that could be powering wireless headphones for those who wish.
