Title: Main screen on Media Director flickering badly

I installed my media director just fine. When it went to boot up the main screen is just flickering. You can still kind of make out whats on the screen to navigate around. I went to KDE Desktop and the desktop looks perfect, no flickering. When I go back to the main screen its flickering again. I set the resolution and the refresh rate to optimum for the monitor (1024 x 768 60 Hz) but I cant get rid of the flicker. I rebooted the router and MD multiple times. Any ideas?

Send us your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and results of dkms status.

does it have an ATI card?
