Title: LinuxMCE sends off commands to IR devices randomly?
Post by: Kezza on February 06, 2010, 04:44:52 am

I have the system setup to control my receiver via IR. The unit turns it off when MCE not in use. I'm guessing is screensaver or sleep mode of sorts?

Is there a way to stop this? Bit frustrating when I'm listening to radio and all of sudden receiver turns off :(

Cheers,

Your template should have an option for OTA radio so lmce will know your are  using the radio. and wont shut it off.

So if receiver is turned on manually then I just need to be prepared to turn back on.... and get remote for MCE working properly and just use that for radio :)

Cheers.

You can change the "Seconds before power off" for the onscreen orbiter.

That sounds like that would do the trick to get around this issue. Will investigate and see what I can find.
