Title: Pluto output to TV
Post by: archived on March 19, 2006, 07:26:37 pm
I have a newly installed Pluto system.  I can output MythTV to a TFT monitor using the server (HP ML110 G2) as a hybrid core, but it's a very distorted image.

However, I really want it to output to an LCD TV which is connected to a Hauppauge DVB (Nova-T) card running under the blackbird driver.  I can record tv fine, but any output comes up on the TFT monitor, not the TV.

Can anybody let me know how to redirect the output to the LCD TV?

i don't see what exactly is your problem.
you can output video signal (analog, digital) from your video card to anything you want. i have a lcd tv (samsung 931mp) which works fine.
and i don't see why output video signal is related to pvr card.

Thanks for the response.  I think I have worked out the problem; my Nova-T has no video output socket (their are two sockets but the second is just an aerial passthrough)!  So no wonder I cannot get an output from it.
