Title: The function of "Disabled" in device description?
Post by: seth on November 19, 2008, 07:00:41 pm
 ???
I am having some issues that are causing my core to lock up. I am thinking it is a device attached to the core. Going down through the list, as I click on a device, I see in the right pane, that there is an option for disabling it. "Disabled"

My question is this, rather than delete devices completely from the tree, if I just check "Disabled" will it seperate it from the core, in otherwords, remove it from being used, so that I can , by process of elimination, possibly determine what is causing the hang.

Thanks,

Regards,

Seth

Yes, if the device is checked Disabled, the launch manager will not attempt to start the device.
