Anyone get this working?
I kinda had it going the other day but when I reloaded the MD I got feedback vibration from the wiimote but no cursor movement.
I reloaded both Core and MD then completely a no go.
I rebuilt from scratch but all I'm getting now when I run wminputd from etc/init.d is...
Socket connect error (control channel)
Unable to connect
hcitool scan works fine - shows my wiimote MAC address.
I'm using a MSI 3G bluetooth dongle.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I've disconnected the Wii. Fails.
I've tried another wiimote. Fails.
I've moved the bluetooth dongle to another USB port. Fails.
I tried wminput XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (BDADDR). Fails.
HCITOOL dev shows my dongle MAC.
HCITOOL inq shows my wiimote MAC, clock offset and class.
When I try to force a baseband connection I get a timeout message.
I guess I'll just keep trying.

Got it...
lsusb showed me something funny with one of the bus devices.
It works. What a pain. Good learning experience though.
Go cursor go wheeeee!

So what was the actual problem and how did you fix it?

Where I should of had zero's I had data.
I thought I had disconnected everything that could have interfered with getting setup (wii, other wiimotes, etc.) but that was not the case.
My youngest has this cheap $20 no name brand bluetooth dongle (fake antenna included).
I had tried to use this dongle for test purposes but when I tried to boot up with the dongle plugged in I received thousands of error messages that screened by until eventually the system finally gave up and booted.
It was plugged into his system about 15 to 20 feet away.
I don't know why he has been playing with it because we've never been able to get it to work.
Go mousey go, wheeee!
