Title: IP motion detector
Post by: Lecabel on May 15, 2007, 01:41:07 pm
I found this http://www.ipenabled.com/md.html IP motion detection sensor together with other sensors such as Temperature, Temperature and Humidity, Water, Airflow, Security, AC Voltage, DC Voltage, Dry Contacts, Motion Detector, Smoke Detector, and more.
. Can linuxMCE handle this signal? I am not an expert, my idea is to connect to a switch/HUB different sensors to control my house.

Another option you might want to look at is the ZIR000 from HomePro.  This is a zwave product.  Pluto (and I assume LinuxMCE, though i haven't verified it yet) support the Zwave interface in general, and the ZIR000 in particular.
