Title: Keep hulu.com Web page in forefront while watching a movie
Post by: ardirtbiker on October 02, 2016, 11:04:26 pm
After fighting with flash/drm/silverlight and hulu not liking firefox on linux, I finally managed to watch a movie on Hulu.com on my MD.  Only problem is that after several minutes, the main orbiter screen displays and I have to maneuver back to firefox.  Is there something I can do to fix this?

I did try searching the forums, but I'm unable to search the right phrase to return something concerning this

see if disabling the photo screen saver helps.

This is the definitive answer:  http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=11744.msg81947#msg81947

Code needs to be added.  The other option is to disable the screen saver completely.

Disabling the screen saver kept the video on the screen but it would not stay 'full screen' .

Too bad Hulu desktop went away.

I'm trying to find less expensive alternatives to cable/satellite services, but it looks like many internet services don't play well with Linux systems (probably Microsoft manipulating content providers).
