Title: Shutdown problem
Post by: maverick0815 on February 08, 2016, 10:15:58 pm
Aside from the onscreen orbiter of my me crashing after watching a movie, I have the problem, that I can not shutdown the md. When selecting power off, it says shutting down, but won't do so. Trying to force issue by holding the power button of the me until it switched off (I know, not good, not nice) resulted in a hangup off the core.
Ssh into the md and do shutdown - h now works though.

Check the "PowerOff mode" of the MD in web admin.

This is by design and not a 'problem'.  Glad it's not.  ;)

Hi, I am experiencing the same symptom. I shutdown the core from webadmin. but would prefer to turn off from webOrbiter. it was feature by default in the past apparently design has been changed.

Posde,
Check the "PowerOff mode" of the MD in web admin.

Can you please elaborate more?  All I see under poweroff mode is letter 'l'. Please see the screenshot attached.

Thank you.

Did you try to hover over the Info bubble to right of the entry field?
