Title: LMCE and Blocking web sites...
Post by: fearingsept on June 27, 2010, 04:01:15 am
There comes a time in every Dads life when he has to block inappropriate content from the internet because his son can't be trusted with the responsibility of being on the web sites he is supposed to.

Are there any ways to block specific web sites using LMCE's admin site?

Not at present. You could install some stuff to do so, in the mean time.

Anybody want to take on a web proxy and blocker integration project?

What do you guys think about using openDNS to resolve this problem?  It would be a relatively straightforward solution for an interested developer.  Seems to me that since it's maintained by them that it's one of the better solutions available.
