Did a "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get upgrade" on both my core and MD, and now no videos (neither recorded or ripped) or any audio will play - it thinks about it for a second, and then I am dumped back at flickr images.
Having tried several reloads/reboots, I deleted the image for the MD through web admin, and reinstalled it - same problem. Video and audio still works fine on the core, it's only the MD that's giving me problems. Seems really weird to me, seeing as I have reinstalled it.
Any ideas as to how to solve this one please? Thanks in advance.
I'm thinking it might be the permissions issues:

Try the above fix?
Take a look at: http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=9873.msg67463#msg67463
Worked for me, after the last updgrade, which messed the permissions.
Cheers guys, that did fix the problem, apologies for not searching the forums more thoroughly before posting.
I have however noticed that my mythtv recordings are not appearing in the orbiter (neither on the MD or core) - I can however access them (and watch them) through mythtv menus directly. Is there a possible link?
Myth recordings (pre-scheduled) goes to OSD menu media -> video ->type -> TV Shows. Took me a while until i realized it.
The live tv recordings (on te fly) are to be viwed under myth (TV).
BTW is there a way to tag video files, so when i select movie, all the movies shows, instead of having to look video -> sort -> fiename and then select the subdir where i have stored them?
TIA
