Hi there,

We have the HVR-2200 working and I can provide you with some 'in development' packages that may well work with the HVR-2250 too...however as far as i know the analog capture side of both these cards has not been supported yet and out packages have that limitation. If you'd like to try the packages out your welcome (they use dkms so will install on any kernel with dkms installed). Send me PM here on the forum with your email address and i will send them to you.

All the best

Andrew

I bought an HVR-2250 for my hybrid/core, and have been waiting for 8.10 to come out so that I can test this out. Just waiting to hear back from Andrew...

I have been doing some research and indication is, that only the digital ATSC and QAM supported - http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HVR-2250.

Is this as indicated?

Your correct analog capture from this card (and its sister card the hvr-2200) is not currently supported by the drivers - I think it will be in due course though.

This tuner card is currently supported in recent 0810 builds.

Looks like analogue support for this card is also now available.

Anyone know if this will be (or already is) built into 0810?
