Title: USB UIRT is not installing correctly (Solved)
Post by: rperre on August 28, 2009, 07:00:39 AM
I connected the USB UIRT to my MD, it recognizes it and than, nothing.........

The error I can see is:

Failed to load Pluto IRbase

The rest looks normal, as far as I know what normal is.

When I point the remote to the usb uirt it blinks, but it's not capturing the code.

I tried to connect the usb uirt to a windows box and it worked fine capturing codes.............. sooooooooooooo

Can anybody tell me what I need to do.

Richard

had you updated your core and MD before manually installing?  Was the package install the only part you did manually?

I did update my core before manually installing.

Let me say this though, you should not have to manually install this usbuirt, it should just be pnp.

Honestly i think my setup is borked because of me trying stuff, i will re-install as soon as the DVD install is available, or maybe sooner.
