Ladies and Gentlemen,

the IRTrans Ethernet http://www.irtrans.de/en/shop/lan.php is now supported for IR blasting in 0810 http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/browser/branches/LinuxMCE-0810/src/IRTrans_Ethernet/

We just need to do a pkg (matter of minutes, anybody interested in becoming a pkg maintainer?), it will then be full PnP.

The unit is very recommended. High quality, PoE variant for Ethernet available. The manufacturer was so nice to provide the core devs with a usb (already supported in 0710) and an ethernet sample.

Presumably this works in 1004 as well?

I see they now have a wireless version: http://www.irtrans.com/en/shop/wifi.php
