Post by: dlewis on June 10, 2009, 07:36:36 PM
Does anyone have Nagios installed to monitor there network (which includes LinuxMCE)? If so, tell me about your install...

I'm not using it to monitor LMCE but I am using it to monitor a wide range of hosts, services, etc.  If you combine Nagios with NagVis it's a really sweet deal...not too hard to configure either.

Haven't gotten around to getting LinuxMCE into the monitoring or no interest?

No real interest...since it's a home network.

All of my networks are critical: Home and Work... Especially since LinuxMCE will eventually be controlling everything in the home, including security.

I'd be happy to help if you run into issues  ;)

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but did this ever happen?

When I get my system installed, I would like to have monitoring of it to keep an eye on the health of the setup.
