I joined this forum with the hope that someone could help me. In every forum there are at least a few knowledgeable people who really know their stuff. This forum seems to be an exception. I have asked questions about my recently aquired DT366 and no one can give me any straight answers. I have googled for technical info on it, emailed DT Research who dismiss me because I have an OEM unit. I need to know the pinout of the connector at the bottom of the DT366 and any other useful information available. I intend to use mine with a GPS and a navigational program. If I can't get any response to my questions I will not bother this forum again.

why do you think that attitude is welcome in any chat?
Anyway.
See, http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=7647.0;topicseen
It might be of some help.
In the future I suggest you change your attitude.

I've had a bit of a smile about the responses, but come on guys, go easy on him!
I'm guessing from his profile and name that he isn't a native English speaker. I work with folks like this every day and often they get things wrong when translating - usually with amusing results.
I might be wrong, but what he meant to say is that most forums have few knowledgable people, but we're different. It's a compliment, not an insult ;) He then goes on to promise not to hassle us if we can't help.
Actually, if you look at it like that, it's a polite and respectful request.
Alternatively, he might be just shouting his mouth off and deliberately causing offence (like most of you seem to have assumed), but why would he do this?
Sorry, had to say that - just trying to promote peace, goodwill and harmony ;D

I'm only suggesting other mediums to get his questions answered...
