Saw this on the MythTV Mailing list... quite interesting though!

When the ASUS EEE box came out, I was really interested in it. Mind you, it cost $378 CDN at the time.

I couldn't afford one, and a few months later I heard about the MSI Wind PC Intel 945GC 1 x 200Pin Intel GMA 950 Black Barebone

for about $170 CDN (and I bought one of these!)

It would be interesting to see how the Ion Platform does. Keep your eyes and ears open!

Sure look like nVidia made a good decision to bring their GPUs to the Atom world and with only 18W of power usage for their reference design its even lower then the current eeeBox that is built around Intels Atom + the lower 945 chipset which use around 23W.

I want one. Wonder what I need to do to get access to one of those reference units.  ;D
