Title: My Developer Appreciation Thread
Post by: lemming86_au on November 09, 2008, 08:08:36 AM
First off, I would like to say congratulations to the developers of this project, you are doing a fantastic job & from what I have read so far on these forums, you are not getting the recognition you all deserve.

I first looked at this a few years ago when it was still in Pluto's hands, I recently found this & fell in love with it all over again.

I would be keen to help out with the project, but have Zero programming experience. I do have quite a bit of experience with Asterisk systems, so if I can help anyone here let me know.

Again, kudos to you all & keep up the good work!

Regards,
Josh

Hi there Josh,

Welcome! Great to have you join the community here.

I am sure that your Asterisk skills will be very well received indeed here by everyone. The Asterisk/Telephony side of the system is an area which has enormous potential and in recent times has not had the guidance and input that it deserves. It would be great to get your input on helping this side of the system grow and improve alongside one of the Devs who understands how LinuxMCE works 'under the hood'.

Drop into the irc channel #linuxmce-devel when you have some time as this where all the Devs hang out.

All the best

Andrew
