Title: Stuck after installation (X11 won't start up)
Post by: Veidit on August 07, 2008, 08:16:35 PM
x11 dosn't want to start up for some reason

it seems like it trying and trying to start X11 but it dosn't seem to want to (at the end I have to reboot it), I am using a vanilla 0710 Linuxmce installation and here is my /var/log/Xorg.0.log (http://shinji.veidit.net/~john/Xorg.0.log) ( big to post here)

It all seems to be an X11 problem. I am using a motherboard with a build in Nvidia 8200 card.

This problem is related to that the network card isn't working as it should

I'm not an expert on this subject, but I think I've read somewhere that the onboard 8200 series GPUs aren't supported  in 0710's kernel, but are under Hardy's kernel

I need to do some magic and I hope to be able to do it tonight and document it at the same time.
