Post by: Cyberpunk on June 05, 2008, 03:20:05 PM
Hi,
On Linuxday in berlin we asked the guys in the lmce booth about compatibility with intels 965 chipset. they told us it will be tested on the same evening, unfortunately we had no chance to come back the next day to get a result, so.....does anybody know anything about it?????????

We have an i965 motherboard working fine as a Core under LinuxMCE-0710.

great, thank you so far, but i have more questions.
how about the video output, do you have video output in an acceptable quality?
did you ever try to put out video signals over a beamer??
we tried to, (on a standard-ubuntu 7.04 system) and we always got a big black frame around the picture which was not really nice and not at all possible to get rid of.....
we hope to finally get better results with lmce.......

The onboard gma3000 will handle UI2 + Overlay fine in our experience. We have never tried a beamer sorry to say.
