Title: List DHCP connections - HOWTO?
Post by: Lexje on April 13, 2008, 12:58:48 PM
Hi forum,

Is there any way to view / list what dhcp addresses are issued by LMCE's dhcp server?
This may be handy if you want to connect to a headless box but don't know the IP address.

Thank you,

Erwin

Erwin,

I have not noticed easy network config or status in the web admin, but from the kubuntu terminal you can

cat /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf

If you look in the pluto_main database's Device table's IPAddress column, you should see some of the devices.  It looks to me like the MDs get stashed here but not the wireless orbiters like my Nokia N800.
