Hey guys, I just got a new MD. It's built with VIA CN700T Motherboard. I'm in the BIOS menu, and I've never setup PXE boot before (not even sure if this has that capability or not).
However, I see two Options that may apply...
Under Advanced BIOS Features --> Boot Sequence. I have the ability to select "Legacy LAN" from the list of Boot Devices.
Also Under Integrated Peripherals --> VIA OnChip PCI Device. There's an option called "Onboard LAN Option ROM" which is currently Disabled. The menu Item says it "Decides whether to invoke the boot ROM of the onboard LAN chip.
Do either of these 2 options apply? Just Trying to see how I can get this thing up and running.
Whoops, sorry, I meant it's an MSI CN700T, but it's a VIA chipset.

You have to set both options. Set the Boot Sequence to "Legacy LAN" and enable the Onboard LAN.

Hmmm... be aware that Via based MD's will only currently be able to run UI1 and to do that will need specially compiled Unichrome Pro or Openchrome drivers too.
Wait... I've been reading all about VIA chipsets on here... and I have heard people complaining about UI2, not UI1. ANd I thought that this would work out of the box with UI2 overlay. It's the VIA CN700 Chipset based with VIA C7 Processor.
If I need special drivers for this... where the heck do I get those?
