Title: "When you can see and hear me..." I can hear but can't see!
Post by: jondecker76 on January 31, 2008, 10:14:47 PM
I've finished installing LMCE 7.10 Beta3.

I have an ASUS M2NPV-VM motherboard with an LCD tv hooked up to the HD ports. During install, I go to the part where the lady is talking - I can hear "When you can see and here me...".
I can hear the voice, but there is no picture. I could see a picture fine during install and when I first start the core (up until I get an error that it can't set the USplash resolution), but then it goes to No Signal..

I followed one of the sticky posts above, and using the number keys to select my video port does not work.

Any ideas?

Also, does it matter if I had Internet connection when I installed LMCE (I.e. did it need it to update NVidia drivers or something?)?  Mine is not working as I'm currently waiting for a new DSL modem (mine is stuck in bridge mode and I can't get PPPOE to turn back on)

I am in the same situation except mine is plugged into a VGA monitor and as much as I love this lass' soothing voice, it would be nice to see something :)

Hmmm... I'd suggest moving to Beta4 bec because we have plenty of Core's/MD's running the nVidia 6150 graphics chip without any problems. So at a guess you need the newer nVidia drivers... you could upgrade these by hand... but there are enough changes/improvements that i would suggest an update to beta4 as being the preferred option.
