Please let me know what else should I do, thanks a lot.
Hi tushi,
log in to the host that holds the systar II and install dvb-utils ( sudo apt-get install dvb-utils )
then use the scan command as follow:
scan /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-s/Hotbird-13.0E > channels.conf
( i use Hotbird and i had to make chages to this file looking at the frequencies ont my set top box, change this according to the satellite you need )
this should give you some output and let you know whether your hard setup is fine.
after this you can import the file into myhtv setup or vdr
if not let me know your output.
hope to help,
Rafik
Thanks a lot for the reply, it worked like a charm, now, when I stream to a channel it playes only for few seconds and it freezes, first I thought the resolution was set to high then I lowered it to medium but I get the same results, is there a workaround?
After disabling HT in my Bios now it works fine, thanks again for all the help.
Your welcome,
glad it worked.
Rafik
