Title: is the ati radeon AIW 8500 dv compatable?

I have the ati radeon AIW 8500 dv and Can't get it to work properly.  anyone have any luck?

When i use the DVD install it gives me a blank screen after reboot.

Vel just startup in VESA mode. That worked for me. When installation is completed, you can use the included ati drivers. Just go to the System Settings / Monitor and display and change it. I still having problems getting the OpenGL to work.
