it seems that there is some issue with the update for mythtv:

Hi mav,

Yep, a few mythtv-player postinst bugs have crept up recently. Follow the 1204 wiki http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/LinuxMCE-1204_pre-alpha#Upcoming_fixes... and we'll try to lick this quickly.
