There has been a change in a central header file. This change effects all binary packages. The next set of upgrades will contain a lot of files, and you can expect some crazy postinst madness. Beware of when you do the upgrade.
The updated debs are in the repo.
Pos,
Any particular things we should be watching for? The referenced commit was changes to GenDevices and committing Radu's JSON plugin, but the knock-on effects are not as obvious. Is the area of concern around new dependencies being installed, or changes to existing installed packages/services?
Thanks!
/Mike
Gen_Devices/AllCommands.h (or something like that) had a booboo for a gazillion years. It was fixed by phenigma 17 month ago, which brought all new bins to all of us. However, after that fix, others committed older versions of that file, reverting phenigma's fix, so we ended up with binaries containing different states of the header file. So far, the upgrade seems to go through painless, from what I and phenigma have experienced in our installs.
