I'd love to see LinuxMCE be able to see a networked Tivo, pull the files off, convert them and make them available for viewing. I have 2 DirecTivos in the house and have no plans to replace them :-)

I second this. I don't currently own a Tivo, but maybe this could be a way for us to get premium HD content into LinuxMCE.
Getting TiVo 2 content would be a good feature and not impossibly difficult. However it will be slow (the network speed is very slow). TiVo 3 and any other protected content will be much harder to get since the manufacturers have worked very hard to protect it.
In order for this to work, I'd love to see them integrate the following:
Galleon:
http://galleon.tv/
-And-
Tivo Decoder
But let's be realistic here. While there might be a great chance of them including Galleon as it was built for linux during a Tivo sponsored competition, the Tivo Decoder is technically illegal because it breaks the DMCA.
