Title: dlan tv
Post by: maverick0815 on December 17, 2011, 01:26:52 PM
I found this one, because I wanted to escape some wiring trouble :http://www.devolo.com/consumer/53_dlan-tv-sat-pc_starter-kit_downloads_7.html?l=en (http://www.devolo.com/consumer/53_dlan-tv-sat-pc_starter-kit_downloads_7.html?l=en)
They offer ubuntu driver and state it would run with 8.10....I wonder if anyone tried something like this already?

Since the press release is from April 2009 and it specifically states support for Ubuntu 8.10, VDR and MythTV I see no reason why it should not be supported, at least not in LMCE 1004.

so far so good...this dlan-stuff seems interesting in some applications...right now I'm trying to get two of those 500mbit-adaptors to run with 1004. I tried to set up a MD via those, but got kernel-panic. Right now its connected to a normal ethernet for setup. I will try hooking it up again, when setup is finished....so hold your fingers crossed :-)
