I have uploaded a new video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVGyzCIT8SE
I have added support for the Following game systems to the LinuxMCE Game Player:
* Super NES / Super Famicom
* Sega Genesis / MegaDrive
* TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine/SuperGrafx
as before, these game types are integrated within the system, and afford all of the functionality shown in previous videos, and come with box art.
Wow, you're incredible!
As there is a feature-freeze do you have a timeline in which version we can expect to see these new emulators?
Thanks!
Nicolai
I am not sure if this falls under the feature freeze as MAME is already a part of 0810.
Would be perfect it it will be impleted although there is a freeze... ;)
One pretty stupid question:
The MD is the one to provide the performance for emulating the games isn't it?
I'm just asking because at the moment i am using a hybrid but i am planning to buy an additional MD.
Will a Dual-Core-Atom still be sufficient for SNES-Games? Maybe also for N64 as soon as 64-Bit consoles are implemented as well?
Thanks and regards,
Nicolai
The emulators run on the media director.

Awesome, great work. Soon time to buy a USB gamepad it seems =) Btw: do these require us to get a BIOS for each console? I've only played around with PCSX2 which has that requirement due to legalities.
Some systems do, some don't. MESS is used as the engine, so do some googling. ;)

Great work Thom!
Thanks, for your continued work on the emu support
What? I had to get past the 8-bit systems to get any attention in this area? :P :)
