I stumbled across this one...can I use this to control my AV-Receiver?

okay...I checked the wiki and try to get this one working. I found this article:
http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Adding_a_New_MCE_Compatible_Transceiver
I obviously need to add the product id to the driver and need some sources. The article states, that "...You'll need to install subversion, linux-source-2.6.22, build-essential, gcc and possibly some other packages too before you start.."
so how do I get the correct kernel source?
